Sleep over

I'm posting this a week late, better late than never. Last Saturday the Carter girls stayed over. Hailee has been asking to have her friends stay over since the moment we moved it. She was sooo very happy for her first sleep over in the new house. We made homemade pizzas which came out great. I even used my Wilton Armetal platter to serve them, not really the way I thought I'd be using it when I registered for it.

After dinner we watched a movie and got Miss. Atley to bed. The big girls got to stay up and play Wii. This was an extra special treat for Tulip who doesn't get to touch or play Wii at her house. Than it was time for the big girls to bed.

Next thing i know its 4 am and I hear little voices in the next room. The girls were up full on lights on playing with toys laughing. I had to go in and lay down the smack and get them back to bed. John had to finally go in and get the girls back to bed. (thanks Jonny)

The next morning the girls wanted to wear matching outfits so I thought why not and let them. They thought it was great. We went to the park and played for the morning. It was over all a good night but I was ready for bed Sunday night that was for sure.

New House

For those of you who didn't know John and I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We final bought and house!!!!!!!!!!!! Papers are signed and we are even moved in. I'll get some interior shots once the boxes are all cleared out. We even have started some projects. I'm not sure why we bought a new house to just change it all but we are loving it and having a great time. (John added the !! that was his input for the blog)

I've been the worst blogger of all time I haven't posted in over a year. The big thing that happened in this past year was John and I got married on July 25th. We had family and friends come to celebrate with us from Florida, Alaska, California, Iowa and other places as well. It was a wonderful event with lots of family and friends. My wonderful sister Shawna was my maid of Honor. My best friend in the whole wide world Sarah was my other bridesmaid.

We are in the process of buying a house. We should close on our house before the New Year. It's been a long process but the house we are buying should be a good one. We are going to have to finish the basement. We are hoping to do most of the work ourselves. check back to see if we really do.

I have a wonderful daughter named Hailee that keeps John and I very busy. We are hoping to expand our family in the next year or two. I'm sure my family is hoping for a little boy but i really want another girl.

OK, so I've really been rebelling this whole blog this but my sister really really wants me to do it so here i am. I'm gong to use this blog to keep everyone up to-date that doesn't live close to me or even those who live close up have a hard time keeping in up to-date.


I'm recently engaged and planning a wedding for next spring/summer to a wonderful man named John. He has been wonderful addition to my family and I love him with my heart and soul. My number one job is being a wonder mother to my daughter Hailee. She is almost three and keeping both John and I on our toes. She is taking grandma and I to the zoo on Saturday for mothers day. I'll let you know how it goes she will have a ton of fun she loves the zoo. I guess that's why we have a family pass there.


I almost forgot I also have a little dachshund names kiwi that is my first child. She is already 4 years old and is loving and just amazing. Anyone thinking about getting a dog I would say dachshunds are great with kids and she is sooo very wonderful. She is adorable as you can see.
